Anyways my 3rd intro to psyche (Different schools) class final was 17 questions long. Would anyone else be offended by this. I voiced my opnion before the test even began and got a rather dirty look from the teacher. If your paying 800 bucks for a class wouldn't you like to get your moneys worth??

As the VERY PROUD & BLESSED mother of a wonderful Little boy on the Autism Spectrum , I found the discription of your tribe INFURIATING. Unfortunately for YOU it also flushes any credibility you may have had as some one who knows ANYTHING about ANYTHING down the toilet. Abnormal Psychology Indeed. Maybe Ignorant psychology, or perhaps incompetent psychology would be more appropriate for anyone who would lump Autism in with the rest of these. Do the world a favor and read up on RECENT BOOKS an the subject of Autism BEFORE you start a tribe. Autistic people arent CRAZY. Theyre precious and gifted, and much MUCH SMARTER than you obviously are. It's people like you who will do nothing but make my sons life harder in this world with your RIDICULOUS NOTION that a person on the Autism spectrum is nuts. God Help Us. I'll pray for ya.

and minus the usual ego bickering that is usually presented.

Anybody here interested in that?
What would you list as major chapters?

If I can please explain my situation briefly and hopefully you can somehow help me or at best point me towards the information I need. A close friend of mine (my girlfriend's mother) has some sort of depression/schizophrenia for over 20 years now and has been on prescription drugs since first diagnosed. We are seeking out natural and holistic methods to treat her. Would you please be so kind if you can and share some information on the matter? Be it direct experiences, referrals, techniques, website links, books or any type of info that would help.
As a parent of an autistic child, I feel that I have to point this out: Autism does not belong in the same categories as these others. It is not a psychological disorder. The idea that it was was discredited 40 plus years ago. It is a neurological and developmental disorder.
